Emerald City Bible Fellowship (ECBF) has weekly worship services Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Service lasts approximately 2 hours. Children's Ministries for infants through 5th grade and middle and high school students is offered during our Sunday morning service. We also have a room for nursing mothers, and both the men's and women's restrooms feature diaper changing tables.
Attendees dress in a variety of styles, so whether you are dressed casually or in your "Sunday best", you will not feel out of place. When you arrive for service, you may park in any available space in our parking lots, on the street, or in any neighboring lot designated by ECBF parking signs. Please be mindful of spaces reserved for those with special needs.
ECBF is a welcoming church. As you enter the building, greeters will be on hand to assist you in the main lobby.
Our sanctuary is located on the second floor. An elevator is available for those who cannot handle a lot of stairs. Please be mindful of seats or areas reserved for those who are physically challenged or families with small children.
After an opening prayer, our worship team leads the congregation in singing and the lyrics of each song are projected on video screens. Visitors are free to sing along with us or simply observe. In addition, everything that happens during our worship services is clearly explained for the benefit of our guests. It is also worth noting that we typically serve Communion (The Lord's Supper) on the first weekend of every month. When we do so, a pastor clearly explains the significance of this practice. Families with small children are encouraged to sit in the back seats for easy access to the lobby, nursing room or bathrooms.
Typically, our senior pastor, Harvey Drake, presents the sermon. However, there are times when another pastor or a guest minister will present the message. Pastor Harvey is known for his practical, down to earth, Bible-centered teaching that helps us apply God's timeless truth to our everyday lives. And you'll love his keen sense of humor!
There are no offerings taken during our services. Instead, attendees are free to give as they enter or exit each service by placing their contributions in one of the tithes/offerings boxes located in our wooden tithe boxes on the stage and in the back of the auditorium next to the doors. As a result, visitors feel no pressure or obligation to give an offering.
Following the service, Pastor Harvey and our staff are usually available to greet visitors at the front of the sanctuary. We sincerely hope you enjoy your visit to Emerald City Bible Fellowship!
