MISSION + VISION

TO ENGAGE AND BUILD UP OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO SHARE COMMON VALUES AND PASSIONS IN USING ARTISTIC EXPRESSION, PREVENTION SKILLS AND MENTORSHIP TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY, CHILDREN & YOUTH.

WE DESIRE TO CREATE SAFE AVENUES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PREVENTION PROGRAMS, VARIOUS CLASSES, WORSHIPS, PERFORMANCES, SHOWCASES, PUBLIC EVENTS AND PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTIONS LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY. THROUGH LEADERSHIP AND MENTORING, WE HAVE BEEN EFFECTIVE IN RAISING UP COMMUNITY MINDED, CULTURALLY COMPETENT ARTISTS AND EMERGING LEADERS FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW.

Creative leaders +

affirming youth

CLAY is a peer to peer leadership development model focusing on Youth and Dating Violence Prevention where scholars go through a 10-session violence prevention curriculum also addressing social and emotional character development. The youth are then trained to lead creative violence prevention campaigns and assemblies in their own schools, lead community engagement and awareness workshops as well as teaching the curriculum to their fellow scholars. We desire to break the cycle of abuse and stop violence before it begins so young people can thrive in life. For more information, please contact May.

Many thanks

A HUGE THANKS to everyone who voted for us for the BECU People Helping People Award! We did not get the People's Choice Award BUT we were honored to receive a Community Benefit Award of $15K! This is seed money for our humble beginnings of a volunteer led organization, no paid staff but burning passion and purpose.

community classes

At our Art House, we host classes and open practices for adults to young toddlers throughout the week. Updates on days and times coming soon for fall/winter 2018.
